Origin East coordinates the consolidation of goods purchased from multiple manufacturers in China, allowing different orders to be combined into a single coordinated shipment where practical.
Goods can be received at a designated consolidation location,
checked against the relevant supplier documentation and prepared for container loading. This can reduce unnecessary separate shipments, improve container utilization and simplify the client’s international logistics.
For clients purchasing from several manufacturers, Origin East coordinates delivery of the individual orders to the agreed consolidation point.
Incoming cargo can be checked against packing lists and order information, with quantities, packaging condition and visible damage reviewed before consolidation. Where required, packaging or labelling issues can be identified before the goods are loaded for export.
Origin East coordinates and supervises container loading to help ensure that cargo is loaded securely and available container space is used efficiently
Loading supervision can include:
Quantity checks • Packaging checks • Visible condition checks • Container condition • Loading sequence • Space utilization • Photographic loading records • Container/seal details
This creates a documented record of the cargo at the point of loading and provides the client with greater visibility before the container leaves China.
For multi-supplier shipments, we coordinate the relevant supplier and cargo information required for the consolidated shipment and work with the appointed freight forwarder to prepare the cargo for export.
Once loading is completed, the shipment can then move into Origin East’s Logistics & Shipping process for freight booking, export coordination and international dispatch.
